Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress best famous for her performances in TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she has shown her versatility in acting by giving outstanding performances in television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. First noticed in 2005 for the character of Anna that was as part of Assault on Precinct 13 But it was her role as feminist campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally made her an actor. Hind has also been recognized for her role played as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's period-drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a 3rd season. Hind was recently finished filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It will be released mid-2019.
